Where are Cibes Lift factories located?

When was Cibes Lift founded and who started it?
An idea about a lift in 1947 laid the foundation of the Cibes Lift Group. Today, Cibes is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of low speed lifts. A civil engineer named Bertil Svedberg started manufacturing, and development accelerated in the 1970s when Cibes began producing screw-driven lifts. This technology has since become one of Cibes’ most important strengths.
What started as a small company in northern Sweden has grown into an international group with more than 100,000 lifts installed in 70+ countries. Through every stage of growth, our Swedish roots have remained a key part of how we design, build, and support our lifts.
