Design Concept
Think of your lift as a blank canvas. Regardless of the type and age of your building, the Cibes Air makes it easy to create a lift design that is perfectly in tune with its unique character and architectural style.
Textile
With its natural fabrics, the Air Textile boasts to be both sustainable and durable. Choose between the stylish linen look or the warm texture of wool for the back panel. Powder coating is used on the metal for the front panel.
Wood
A really warm & sophisticated mix of wood for the back panel and velvety smooth DecoLegno® for the front panel.
Metal
Stylish, with resistant metals such as steel and aluminum, the Air Metal will easily find its place in your property. It comes standard with a black back panel and a white front panel. The Cibes Air Metal design enables to create your own colors to personalize it according to your tastes.
Intuitive Lift Design
Great product design is all about the user experience. From the innovative handrail and safety functions to the elegant lift display and LED lighting, the Cibes Air is designed with the user in mind.
Ergonomic handrail
The Cibes Air is very easy and intuitive to use. Because the floor buttons are integrated with the handrail, you just rest your palm on the handrail to travel.
Integrated lift display
The 7″ display of the floor indicator is easy to read. To create an elegant and futuristic look, the screen is covered with semi-transparent mirror glass.
Safety Edges
The top safety edge is located behind the upper bar of the back panel and it will stop the lift instantly when touched. The safety edges framing the platform floor, stop the lift at the slightest touch. Availabe in any RAL or premium colour as an option, and possible to equip with programmable LED light, the floor safety edges constitute an important part of the overall lift design

Frequently Asked Questions
A Cibes screw-driven lift moves up and down by rotating a nut on a vertical steel screw inside the shaft. The motorised nut attached to the platform travels along the screw, lifting and lowering the cabin at a controlled, smooth speed. There is limited use of hydraulic oil (auto lubricated screw), no counterweight, no traction cable, and no overhead machine room. The drive is self-locking, which means the platform cannot fall freely, even in the event of a power loss or motor failure.
Cibes lifts include a 6-layer safety protection system covering mechanical, electrical, and emergency conditions.
– Self-locking screw drive: the platform cannot free-fall, even in a power outage
– Automatic emergency braking: the lift stops immediately when an obstruction is detected
– Safety doors with electromagnetic locks: doors lock automatically during travel
– ARD emergency backup battery: moves the lift to the nearest landing during a power outage
– Emergency phone: connects directly to a 24-hour service line
– Safety edges (platform lifts) and safety light curtain (cabin lifts): detect obstructions and stop the lift instantly

Yes. Cibes lifts are designed for installation in both new construction and existing homes. Common retrofit locations include:
– The centre of a stairwell
– An unused corner of the living room or hallway
– An external wall for outdoor or semi-outdoor installation
– A converted closet or storage space
– A void between floors in a duplex or penthouse
The minimum footprint is approximately 1 square meter. Cibes Lift Thailand conducts a free site survey to confirm feasibility and recommend the optimal location.
