An Interview with Kru Ngor, Rossukon Kongket, and the Beautifully Designed Cibes Voyager Aurora Home Lift That Fits Her House Perfectly
Step inside the home of Kru Ngor, Rossukon Kongket, with the luxurious Cibes Lift Voyager Aurora home lift in the Nova Clouds finish — a perfect match for the flooring throughout her house. Read on to find out why she chose Cibes Lift.
Why did you install a home lift?
I installed a home lift for two main reasons. The first was for my mother. She is over 80 now, and climbing up to the third floor — my house has three storeys — simply wasn’t going to work for her. So I had it put in for her, and oh my, she is so happy. She rides up and down with such pride. She absolutely loves it.
The other reason was for myself. When you build a house, you expect to live in it into old age, right? So there is the future to think about. And right now, I travel constantly. My partner often has to work abroad, so there is always packing to do — and my luggage is enormous — and we would have to haul it all down ourselves. I felt sorry for our housekeeper, and sorry for my own back. Oh my, once the lift was in, everything became so much easier.
How did you hear about Cibes Lift?
My contractor was the one who recommended Cibes Lift. I knew nothing about lifts, but he suggested it. He said, “This brand is perfect for your house,” because it is so easy to install. You simply leave the space open — no digging a pit, no building a shaft, nothing at all. Just leave the space, and they arrive with the whole unit ready to go. It goes straight in.
Why did you choose a Cibes home lift?
Here is why I decided on Cibes Lift.
1. A home lift that fits even in tight spaces
There was hardly anything I had to prepare, and very little building work involved. They handled all of it for me. I left the space open, they came in and finished the job beautifully. That is what I loved most.
2. A beautifully designed home lift
When you look at the lift, there is the interior finish, right? The interior matches my flooring exactly. And they have so many patterns to choose from. It feels modern to me — compact, and you can have it in glass, so it isn’t closed in, it feels open and airy. The other important thing is that it feels safe.
3. Dependable after-sales service from a Swedish branch office
They are not a distributor. Because it is an actual branch of the company, whenever we have a problem and need help, we just pick up the phone — and they are quick.
Have you had any technical problems since you started using it?
The other day, something of mine slipped and fell in while we were moving into the new house. There is a small gap in the lift shaft, and my things dropped down there — but our housekeeper sorted it out herself. We didn’t even need to contact Cibes Lift. She said, “Leave it to me, I’ll take care of it.” Everything is that easy and convenient to fix, so it really puts my mind at ease.

How has your life changed since installing a home lift?
How has life changed? I try not to turn into a lazy person — I still make myself take the stairs. But so many things are easier now, and it was especially clear when we first moved in and had all the carrying and moving to do. My gym room is on the third floor, you see. Oh my, on the day we had to move everything up to the gym on the third floor — without a lift, I would have died.
From what I asked the team who installed it for me, one trip up and down my three floors costs 50 satang. Just think about that. Let’s imagine for fun: say today you are carrying an incredibly heavy bag, and someone says, “Give me 50 satang and I’ll carry it up for you.” Wouldn’t you pay? I would pay in a heartbeat. And the electricity bill is no different from before.
