How Cibes Home Lift ISO 9001 and TÜV Rheinland Define Safety: Beyond the Certificate
In the world of home technology, few things are as personal or as crucial as a home lift from an ISO 9001 certifierd factory. It’s more than a machine; it’s a promise of accessibility, freedom, and daily peace of mind. At Cibes, we understand that this promise is built on a foundation of absolute trust. That trust, in turn, is built on an unwavering commitment to quality, a commitment that goes far beyond the finished product.
It’s a commitment that lives in our processes, our culture, and our deliberate choices. One of the most important choices we’ve made is to not only adhere to the world’s most recognized quality standard, ISO 9001, but to have our adherence verified by one of the most rigorous auditors on the planet: TÜV Rheinland. This is the story of why these choices matter for every family who trusts a Cibes home lift.
What is ISO certification? Demystifying the Standards We Live By.
Every day, we trust countless products and services without a second thought. This is possible because of a global framework of standards that ensures things are safe, reliable, and work the way they should.
At the heart of this framework is the International Organization for Standardization , better known as ISO. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO is an independent, non-governmental body. It brings together experts from its 160+ member countries to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
Interestingly, the name “ISO” is not an acronym. It derives from the Greek word isos, meaning “equal.” The founders chose this name so the organization’s shorthand would be consistent across all languages, reflecting its core mission: to put everyone on an equal footing by providing a clear, shared benchmark for quality and compatibility.
These standards are the silent guarantors of quality in nearly every industry, and nowhere are they more critical than in manufacturing products that affect a family’s safety. This is where the ISO 9001 standard becomes the blueprint for excellence in a Cibes home lift.

What Does Home Lift ISO Certification Means?
When people hear “ISO certified,” they might think of a stamp of approval on a final product. But ISO 9001 is something much deeper. It’s not a product standard; it’s a process standard.
ISO 9001 sets the criteria for a Quality Management System (QMS) . This is the entire framework of policies, processes, procedures, and records that govern how a company operates to consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. In short, it’s about how we do what we do.
For a Cibes home lift, this means:
- Consistency: Every lift we produce follows the same meticulously documented, quality-controlled processes, ensuring uniformity and reliability.
- Traceability: From raw materials to final installation, every component and step is traceable. This accountability is key to quality control and rapid problem-solving.
- Customer Focus: The standard requires us to understand and meet our customers’ needs, making your satisfaction the ultimate measure of our success.
- Continuous Improvement: ISO 9001 is not a one-time achievement. It mandates a culture of constant evaluation and refinement. We are always seeking ways to make our processes more efficient and our products even better.
Our journey with ISO 9001 for our new Jiaxing factory began in 2021. For five consecutive years, we’ve invited TÜV Rheinland to rigorously audit our systems, evolving from simply achieving “certification” to embedding “continuous improvement” into our DNA.
We sat down with our Head of Quality, Denny Liu, and an auditor from TÜV Rheinland to discuss why this partnership is so central to our mission.

Why Third-Party Certification Matters: The Auditor’s Role
An important detail about our Home Lift ISO Certification is that the organization itself does not “certify” companies. ISO develops the standards, but the verification process is carried out by independent, external bodies.
This separation is crucial. It ensures the audit process is impartial and objective. A company’s decision to work with a highly respected and stringent certification body like TÜV Rheinland is therefore incredibly meaningful. It signals a commitment to transparency and a genuine desire to be held accountable to the highest standards. It shows that the goal isn’t just to pass a test, but to truly build a world-class system for quality.
Passing the Test: Zero Non-Conformities in 2025 for Cibes Home Lift ISO Certification
This year, 2025, marked our fifth annual ISO 9001 audit, and we are incredibly proud to have passed with zero non-conformities.
This is a significant achievement, especially since we’ve recently expanded our in-house processes to include spray painting, glass frame assembly, and sandwich panel assembly. Passing without a single issue proves that our quality management system is not only robust and effective but also adaptable enough to maintain excellence as we grow. It is a direct result of our management’s deep commitment and our entire team’s dedication to the Cibes standard of quality.
