Active certifications include CE Mark, EN81-41 for residential platform lifts, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, ISO 9001 and ISO14001 for quality management, and SIL3 certification by Liftinstituut. The Royal Swedish Institute of Technology has tested the screw structural design to load capacities of up to 10 tonnes.

The smallest Cibes home lift footprint is approximately 1 square meter, suitable for a single passenger. Platform sizes scale up to large units that accommodate a passenger, a wheelchair, and an accompanying carer. Cibes offers up to 41 platform sizes across the V-series, so the lift can fit narrow stairwells, corner installations, duplex voids, and unusual floor plans. Cibes also has a larger A8000 Extra able to fit medical beds.
