Cibes Lift (Thailand) is the Thai subsidiary of Cibes Lift Group, a Swedish home lift manufacturer founded in 1947 and headquartered in Gävle, Sweden. The Four Pillars Behind A Sustainable Cibes Lift
Every Cibes home lift is built on four engineering pillars that work together to lower lifetime environmental impact. These are not optional features. They are the technical baseline that defines the product category at Cibes.
Low-energy screw drive
The Cibes EcoSilent screw drive runs only during travel and draws 0.3 to 2.2 kW or 3kW (depending on models) on standard single-phase 230V power (Three-phase optional). There is no hydraulic oil in the system, which removes a hazardous waste stream and cuts operating energy by roughly 45% versus a comparable hydraulic lift.
Recyclable structural materials
The shaft and cabin frame are built primarily from steel, aluminium and glass. In 2025, 26% of steel input, 20% of aluminium input and 12% of glass input was recycled content, all tracked annually under the GHG Protocol reporting boundary.
Certified manufacturing and supply chain
Cibes lifts are built in ISO 14001 certified production. The Gävle production unit signed a REACH compliance statement in 2025, and 96% of procurement value in production units was covered by signed supplier Code of Conduct agreements.
Circular Economy
A Cibes home lift is designed for long service life, with modular upgrades that reduce replacement needs. At end of life, steel, aluminium, and glass components can be separated cleanly, supporting recyclability and circular use.

Cibes Lift Group has set three measurable climate targets for 2030, all from a 2022 baseline. These targets define the trajectory that any Cibes lift sold in Thailand sits on.
Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction

2025 progress includes 100% renewable wind electricity at the Gdansk production unit in Poland, and a new solar installation at the Jiaxing production unit in China that came online in October 2025 and generated 47,600 kWh of clean energy in its first month.
Cibes Classic (Cibes A5000), a home lift designed for sustainability
The Cibes Classic (Cibes A5000) is the home lift often specified by Thai architects on sustainability-led projects. It combines the EcoSilent screw drive, the modular structural design and an A-rated energy classification into a single product that is fully documentable for EIA filings and green building submissions. It is also one of two models the group uses as the reference for its lifecycle assessment work.
